A merch line that funds the free repair nights
Tees, totes, patches and a sticker sheet for a volunteer-run community bike shop.
Brand Identity · Campaigns & Print
the challenge
The shop fixed three hundred bikes a year for free and paid rent with a donation jar. People loved it; nobody had a way to say so on their jacket.
the approach
A small system of marks — a chainring sun, a hand-drawn wrench — printed two colors at a time so the local screen printer could run everything in an afternoon. Sized to sell at the counter, not online.
the outcome
The first run paid for itself in a month and now covers roughly half the rent. Volunteers wear the tee; that turned out to be the real marketing.
